Mohammad Yousuf, a polio survivor, approached the Trust for support in his teens. The Trust saw his potential and provided comprehensive financial assistance through college and later for his Master’s program in the USA. Today, Mr. Yousuf is a Research Specialist for the US Department of Transportation and the founder of the EquallyAble Foundation. He has since "paid it forward," creating a substantial corpus fund within Faiz E Aam Trust and donating over ₹50 Lakh to help similarly abled individuals.
Syeda Salva Fatima: First Officer at IndiGo
Syeda Salva Fatima is one of the very few Muslim women in India who hold a Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL). Her dream, which her father, Syed Ashfaq Ahmed, initially found unbelievable, was given wings when Janab Zahid Ali Khan of Siasat Daily and Faiz-E-Aam Trust offered complete moral and financial backing. The support began with her admission to the Andhra Pradesh Aviation Academy in 2007 and continued until she became a fully licensed pilot. She currently works as a First Officer with IndiGo Airlines.
Seeing her ambition and need, the Faiz E Aam Trust provided a young woman with the moral and financial support required to achieve her extraordinary dream of becoming a pilot. She was admitted to the Andhra Pradesh Aviation Academy in 2007, and the Trust continued its support until she successfully earned her license. Dr. Syed Hasan exemplifies the height of academic potential realized through timely support. The Faiz E Aam Trust recognized his brilliance early, supporting him from Grade I through X.
